In a city known more for its glitz than its grit, Angel City Brewery is proud to rough things up a bit and work beneath the shiny surface. Our home in the Los Angeles Arts District is both brewery and canvas, the center of a revival for the city's artists, musicians, hustlers, and craftspeople. Our game tonight took us on a globetrotting crime caper and into the dictionaries of Cricket, Doctor Seuss, and the ancient Greeks. But the team that absolutely stole the show was the 1927 Ping Pong Champs: With a frankly stunning 5 successful double-downs, the Champs finished the night with a whalloping 98 points. (For the record, an absolutely perfect game is 110 points, a feat I have never seen.) Keep pinging and ponging, y'all!
