In a city known more for its glitz than its grit, Angel City Brewery is proud to rough things up a bit and work beneath the shiny surface. Our home in the Los Angeles Arts District is both brewery and canvas, the center of a revival for the city's artists, musicians, hustlers, and craftspeople. It's an LA that's as ambitious as it is diverse & and our beer is no exception.
We filled Angel City's main hall tonight! Questions were hot. Contestants were hot. Night was hot. Everything was hot. Quite a bit of jostling among the rankings all through the night, but in the end Oedipus & the Motherfuckers took yet another win. They started out strong and finished strong. ...And also were strong in the middle. Yep that tends to do the trick.
But mystery of mysteries, when it came time to hand out the prizes, the second and third place teams had already skipped town! And so their prizes were passed on to the next teams down the list. Just goes to show you, stick around a little and who knows what good things will come your way!

T'was a beautiful evening of Independence Week at Angel City Brewery, and all the regulars were here, plus several bright new faces! Several teams jostled for position throughout the night, and in the end the win went to team Natalie Portman as Jackie! That's thanks to two successful double-downs, plus another round they could have doubled!
