In a city known more for its glitz than its grit, Angel City Brewery is proud to rough things up a bit and work beneath the shiny surface. Our home in the Los Angeles Arts District is both brewery and canvas, the center of a revival for the city's artists, musicians, hustlers, and craftspeople. It's an LA that's as ambitious as it is diverse & and our beer is no exception.
Angel City's second week back saw many familiar faces and several new contenders! We named some hotels, puzzled over game shows, brainstormed furiously in the brain+storm round! But it was the guess-who round that really shook things up. Our first place team got -1 and our last place team scored a perfect 10!
In the end the win went to Bozo Dubbed Over... but by a narrower margin than they might have liked!

Angel City Brewery welcomed back its first pub trivia event since March 2020 tonight, and it's like we never missed a day! The drinks were flowing, the crowd was vibing, and the trivia was coming fast and fierce!
Team Urethra Franklin doubled-down in round 1 and never looked back, holding their lead all through the night. But in a surprise twist, Team Yes (who had been in the #2 position) dropped out entirely, giving the others a chance to ascend.

Tonight we saw an unusually broad distribution of scores, brought on in large part by the most devastating Guess Who round in recent memory. Fully 11 out of 15 teams lost a point there, and extra congratulations are owed to Diaper City for scrambling back onto the podium after falling into that unfortunate cohort. Of course the real win of the night belongs to the real winner: Yummy Town's double-down.
There is no trivia next week, 3/17 on St. Patrick's Day. Come to Angel City Brewery and revel anyway, but don't expect any booklets to figure prominently in your night.
