In a city known more for its glitz than its grit, Angel City Brewery is proud to rough things up a bit and work beneath the shiny surface. Our home in the Los Angeles Arts District is both brewery and canvas, the center of a revival for the city's artists, musicians, hustlers, and craftspeople. It's an LA that's as ambitious as it is diverse & and our beer is no exception.
Would you believe it? We had working light fixtures and plenty of quiz booklets this week! Trivia at ACB has truly returned to top form. And 71 eager contestants turned out to test their mettle against this week's questions. Tuesday Night Music Club and Diaper City were neck-and-neck all through the night and the final winner had to be determined by tiebreaker. As we now know, Barack Obama is 57 years old. We witnessed an particularly broad spread of scores this week, merely evidence of how diverse our contestant pool is. Tonight was a special and unusual night of trivia, as we found ourselves relegated to ACB's Main Hall. But the regulars were undeterred, and we even made some more friends along the way! Congratulations to our winners, schoolteachers FTK or FTK, who have been faithful regulars for months now and fittingly earned their win on the night with an Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader round!
