It was a NAIL BITER this evening of trivia

I saw the most double downs (both successful and not-so-successful) of my trivia career! And first place was either a three-way or a four-way tie for most of the night. With second staying a tie until the very end!

But in the end, the Peeps came out on top, with our resident teachers, the "PhilosoRaptors" coming in just behind them, and the dynamic duo of "We Always Come From Behind" staying true to their name, climbing up to third slowly through the night

Also, congrats to my local purple monkey dishwashers for flipping the drinking round onto its double tails!

Close game at Barney's Beanery, one for the ages. We ended the night with a two way tie for first- and one of the teams forgot to stay for the tiebreaker. Seriously Our Drinking Team Has a Trivia Problem? You could have had it all- or a second place gift certificate at least. Regardless, congrats to Purple Monkey Dishwasher for taking home the gold. Well done to all our teams, even those ones who make choices.

It was a packed house tonight and with all the trivia in the room with us we could hardly breathe!

As the questions were flying and the teams were trying, suspended load grabbed their drinking round while the Pasadena Peeps grabbed their lead and ran with it to the very end, ending their losing streak! With Beer Pressure and Purple Monkey Dishwasher behind them by over 10 points!

It was a blowout, but fun was had by all! I hope to see at least most of you next week!
