About Brewcakes (Tuesdays)

Join us for the Brewcakes Local League from August 1 - October 26 to compete against your fellow Brewcakers for bragging rights and awesome prizes!

Brewcakes is a Dessert Gastropub where the whole menu is infused with craft beer, wine or alcohol, while still being family friendly. Come and try our panini sliders, flatbreads, farm fresh salads, and of course all of our desserts! We will soon be serving craft beer and wine! We source many of our ingredients locally and make everything from scratch!

Trivia Tuesday how I love thee! Big warm welcome to Spanish Inquisition, a very serious name that makes me want to be on my best behavior!  And a spotlight on my last place team also new to the game, Squirtle Squad, you are a resilient lot, and the most excited and gracious final spot finishers I have had the pleasure of knowing, do come back and play again!

As for the rest of you crazy kids! It looked as though Everybody Kurts Sometimes (sorry about the blurry pic guys, but I still posted it... it's like you are in a whirlpool) had the game in the bag until the last round when the team with the longest name ever, I call them Klondike Bar, double or nothing'd and took the first place win! It was a nail-biter. Good thing that 2nd place already know Everybody Kurts Sometimes. And in third place, they have one of my favorite names ever as it conjures up so many ridiculous quotes and laughs, Suck it, Trebek! Insert gif and clip here! You guys are awesome see you Thursday or Tuesday!

THANK YOU, COLBY!!! Colby was a badass again and let all of us typically outside trivia folks inside for some Tuesday quizzing action. A sigh of relief as we all began to thaw, mmmm inside and beer so warm sooo cozy!

Today's pictures brought to you by selfie cam today! This is what happens when you leave photo taking in the hands of seasoned trivia professionals! Congrats to Curt Came Back the Very Next Day, "Phew!!!... I was sooo worried!," CCBTVND took first place by 1/2 a point! Wow! What a game! Just behind them were The Stoolies! I will get you to register one day if it kills me! In third another group of trivia connoisseurs, just the kids this time, Beer Monsters! Honorable mention to Chocolate Lover who won a funnel cake by knowing when rocks get thrown in water they get wet!

And I am starting a new recap tradition, that is the Last Place Team We Appreciate You portion of my recap. Just want to say Easy Spares, someone has to lose every game, it isn't always pretty, but we appreciate your sacrifice and you 2 lovebirds did it with style! We appreciate you Easy Spares!
