QUIZ RECAP

Last day of August, weather starting to cool, but 50+ people were warmed up and ready to play some trivia! 14 teams, let's go!

Lots of fun energy here, all way to the end! We had a tie for 3rd place between Honeysmacks and Quiz Me Baby One More Time. For the first time in my quizmastering history, we got to do a tie-breaker question at the end. Honeysmacks won that tie-breaker and came in 3rd. However, they left before claiming their prize. So, Honeysmacks, when you come back, feel free to claim it!

2nd place went to Flattening the Perv (who were the 1st place winners on 8/10). In 1st place tonight was Skimbleshanks the Trivia Cats!

Thanks to Burke-Gilman for hosting us and providing great drinks and atmosphere. I loved the Habanero Lime cider. Will definitely be getting that again!

QUIZ RECAP

Good to be back! Really neat to see people continually trickling in to play trivia. When it was time to start, we had 11 teams with 40+ stellar individuals join in the friendly competition.

Wow, some of these rounds were tricky and difficult, especially the handout round matching the summer olympics host city to the year it hosted and the picture round identifying the state from its commemorative quarter.

At the end, we had our returning champions from last week Dewey Ever! placing 3rd, Comirnatty Lite in 2nd, and nuggettownusa taking 1st place!

QUIZ RECAP

It's comfortable tonight at Burke-Gillman Brewing Co. with nine teams spread out inside & outside. 

Tonight we had five first-time teams register ready to go. The new teams added to a competitive atmosphere giving the four returning teams some fresh competition. The regular teams weren't discouraged fighting for their points.

The recurring theme of multiple rounds were tied points between multiple teams. Round 1 had 3 pairs of teams tie. Round 3 had another two pair of team tied. All of that changed by the end of round 5. I was surprised to see a three-way tie for second place. Round 6 determined the the front runners going into a rocky round 7. Teams were very proud of their intentionally wrong answers to the second list. The hilarity of it all provided our final scores in a tie for 7th place as I expected nothing less given the trend.

The top three comprised of two brand new teams Delta Breeze (3rd) & M & M (2nd). A returning team Dewey Ever! (1st) fought to maintain a top position all night and their dedication paid off.
