QUIZ RECAP

It's Halloween week and guests were welcomed to come dressed in their costumes and earn a couple extra bonus points for their team! Several teams took part and it's always fun seeing the different costumes. One notable team Cats & Hogs (& Keggy) Are Wild came, even with their dog, as the crime-solving Scooby-Doo gang - Mystery Incorporated. Another, Put my dog on the photo wall had their adorable dog in a bright orange pumpkin jack-o-lantern costume. Yes, put that dog on the photo wall! Other teams had some simple costume ears, wigs, hats, onsies. Good enough! And as you can see, your Quizmaster was your Cobra Kai Sensei for the evening. Welcome to his dojo. Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy! And with him was his amazing assistant Rosie the Riveter.

Winston's Boat placed 3rd, with Tangle of Kraken (formerly Yum Yum Dim Sum) in 2nd, and Interrobang?! in 1st! This was their first time placing! Maybe it had something to do with the homemade chocolate chip muffin they gave me. Or maybe this was their night for trivia.

QUIZ RECAP

It's Tuesday...your favorite night of the week here at Burke-Gilman Brewing Company. Because it's...Trivia Night!

It was great having my friends John and Johan help and hang out with me while I, your Quizmaster TC, hosted and took care of my wonderful guests. 20 teams were ready to play. About half were returning teams and half were new or hadn't played in a while. Whatever the case, we welcome you.

The top 3 teams were all returners who have won in the recent past...with Skimbleshanks the Trivia Cats in 3rd, Yum Yum Dim Sum in 2nd, and Dewey Ever! in 1st! Congrats teams! This goes to show that the more you come back and play, the better you'll get! That and/or assemble a stellar team.

Next week - join me in costume with your team and earn 2 extra points! Let's GO!

QUIZ RECAP

Tonight was Seattle's coldest day during the first two weeks of October in more than 120 years (since 1899)! But that and the rain did not stop the guests from pouring into Burke-Gilman Brewing Co. for a fabulous night of trivia. There were also a good amount of new players, even those unaware about trivia night, who joined in and were glad they did. 18 teams played and enjoyed a great evening together.

There was a tie for 2nd/3rd place between Montlake bridge for mayor and Winston's Boat. In the end, Montlake bridge for mayor won the tie-breaker and came in 2nd place, with Winston's Boat in 3rd. And in 1st place, for the very first time, was Chillvaxxin'!

Yes, it's getting chillier and wetter here in Seattle, but it's nice, warm, cozy, and happenin' inside! So come early each Tuesday to secure a great spot for you and your team!
