About Butcher's Dog

We have 10 large HDTVs and show up to 5 different events on them (we love sports and hope you join us for all the great sports events coming up: UFC, NBA, NHL, Formula 1 Grand Prix, Rugby Word Cup, NASCAR races, Champions League, MLB World Series, etc.).

We have a beautiful patio with space heaters.

We pour great beers and wines, with 18 beers on tap, as well as crafted cocktails.

We have a great Happy Hour menu daily from 3pm to 7pm and ALL NIGHT on Mondays.

During these times $4 & $5  draft beers, $6 house cocktails, $4 well drinks and our selected house wines are $6 a glass.

Hokey smokes!! It was a HUGE night of trivia at Butcher's Dog this week!  Presumably everyone was celebrating the end of the government shutdown?  I dunno, but man did we have a good time!

21 teams battled for mental supremacy, which is a record for this game by at least a few teams, even though a few didn't make it to the end! The quiz was tough, including two whole rounds that focused on yours truly's weak spots (music and sportball), but several teams made great use of the double-or-nothing wager to end with very impressive scores.

In first place, No Pants Party regained the top spot over last week's champs Stormy Daniels' Secret Back Door (not the only Stormy Daniels reference in a team name). Third place went to the single-player team Off in the Woods. Not bad for one guy!

Newbies The Answer Keys started off strong with the lead in round 2, but they got passed up by a few other teams. Nevertheless, they ended with the sexiest score possible, as well as winning the drink round, which went to the first correct answer in Round 4's Guess Who round!

Another huge night of trivia at Butcher's Dog, with 16 teams starting out the game!  We had players inside and out on the patio, and everyone was super accommodating and understanding while I messed around with a new speaker system, but once we got going the trivia was fast and furious!

We had TWO birthday girls celebrating with their teams, and the whole place sang to them on their special days!

In the end, the scores were tight, but Poophole Table (to paraphrase our President) took the win!  Quiz Kid Donnie Smith got their highest ranking ever, taking second for the first time, and JC's Bacon Dream didn't leave empty-handed with third place, taking home a big bottle of Iceland's best vodka! (Birthday Girl would've been tied if only they'd gotten an official team number! What a birthday lesson...)
