This was my first show at Charlie’s filling in for Jonathan Rushing the regular Quiz Master. Congrats to Alcohol: For Teachers, By Teachers for their late game 1st place comeback win! They received a $15.00 dollar gift certificate for Charlies Stars and Stripes. The 2nd place finish was claimed by Who Wants to Touch Mike Hawk, they received a $10.00 gift certificate for Charlies Stars and Stripes. The new kids on the block coming all the way from Hogwarts was team Gryffindor with a respectable 3rd place finish. The Funky Wagnall’s led most of the game but unfortunately do to a late round double or nothing bust they lost the advantage. However, a smart and savvy group such as the Funky Wagnall’s will be back in the race next week. It was a fun night until next week, goodbye and good luck trivia geeks!

Charlie's was closed for remodeling last week so there was a slightly smaller crowd last night, but it was still a good time. All 5 teams did very well. It came down to the wire in the last round, Alcohol: For Teachers By Teachers and the Lady Boners were tied for 2nd place and the Teachers got the silver medal with the tie breaking question. Always a strong showing from them. A huge congrats to the Funky Wagnalls for getting the gold medal with their strong win last night! Fun crowd. Going to try to get a larger crowd in the weeks to come.
