Happy Valentine's Day Eve! Love was (somewhat) in the air tonight with a (somewhat) romantic evening of trivia. Congrats Wombats on winning 1st place! They used three doubles and had a sexy score of 77 points. The Wombats won $180. Counter Intelligence slid into the DMs for 2nd place (65 points) and won $50. Boss Ladies won 3rd place (and Free Drinks) by just the tip in a tiebreaker over the Mother Fs. And in last/not least place, We The People won a Free Pizza. Also, Happy Birthday to some of our favorite trivia players, Richard "Shuuut uppp!" and Kristen from the Mother Fs! Also also, special congrats to The Wombats and Counter Intelligence who got all of the kissing songs correct! xoxoxo

We haven't seen tonight's winning team in foreverrr, but they definitely made up for lost time. Congrats Whiskey Quizness on winning 1st place! They took the lead in Round 4's "Guess Who?" with a correct answer on the 10 point clue and never looked back. Whiskey Quizness finished with 56 points and won $110. The Mother Fs came in 2nd place (47 points) and won $50. Boss Ladies charged into 3rd place (46 points) and won Free Drinks. And I have't written these words in awhile/forever, but in last/not least place, the All Night Rockers won a Free Pizza. We needed OVERTIME tonight and I, for the first time ever, needed a CALCULATOR to determine our winner. The Mother Fs and Counter Intelligence were tied at 70 points, so we went to a tiebreaker question: What is the population of Saudi Arabia? Both teams guessed (somewhat) close populations, and the difference was about 60,000 people. And the winning team...Congrats Mother Fs! They earned the bonus point for 1st place and won $185. Counter Intelligence finished in 2nd place and won $50. Boss Ladies came in 3rd place (66 points ) and won Free Drinks. And in last/not least place, Whiskey Quizness won a Free Pizza.
