At trivia, we believe in "beginner's luck." We also believe in "beginner's luck" on your team's second (or third or fourth) time playing trivia with us. Congrats Team Wombats on winning 1st place! It was their second time playing at DiPiazza's. They finished with back-to-back doubles and scored 89 points for the win and $185. We hope to see Team Wombats again. The Karens also scored two late doubles and came in 2nd place ($50) with 87 points. Team Counter Intelligence had the lead for most of the night. They even scored 9/10 correct in Round 7's "Music Round:  Team America" (only miss was Woody Guthrie's "This Land is Your Land"). They finished with 79 points and won Free Drinks.  And in last/not least place, the Arctice Chicks had a chillyyy score, but still won a Free (Hot) Pizza.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve Eve! We have a lot to be thankful for this year at DiPiazza's! We're thankful for all of our wonderful trivia teams that make our show such a great night each week. Counter Intelligence has 255 reasons to be thankful tonight. They took the lead in Round 6's "Matching Round" and helddd on for a one-point win over Boss Ladies. Congrats Counter Intelligence on 1st place (61 points) and winning $255! The Boss Ladies are thankful for Round 4's "Guess Who?" as they were the first (and only) team that correctly guessed our famous person ("real or fictional, living or dead") on the 8-point clue. They finished in 2nd place (60 points) and won $50. The Karens are thankful for tiebreakers as they broke the tie for 3rd place between them and the All Night Rockers. The extra point gave them 3rd place and they won Free Drinks. And in last/not least place, Arctic Chicks are thankful for Free Pizza. I'm not sure if they'll order turkey on their pizza next week. We'd also like to thank the staff at DiPiazza's for making our trivia such a fun night! THANK YOU DIPIAZZA'S!
