I think some/ most of us were still recovering from that three-day weekend. I mean, some/most of us EXCEPT for Counter Intelligence. They saved their best for (almost) last and took the lead in Round 6's "Matching Round." Counter Intelligence scored three successful doubles and won 1st place with 79 points. All Night Rockers were tied with Counter Intellience for first place for some/most of the night. They finished in 2nd place with 76 points. The Duke Silver Backing Band rocked/rolled into 3rd place with 70 points.

They're baaaack! After taking a week off from 1st place, Spare Parts finished back on top. I'm not sure if their seats tonight (on the stage) had anything to do with them winning. And even though they lost a point in Round 4's "Guess Who?" (Zayn Malick), Spare Parts held on for the win with 59 points and won $315. Boss Ladies had a chance to win, but didn't double in Round 5's "Find the Connection" (Australia). Dohhh! They still came in 2nd and won $50. The Karens took 3rd with 50 points and won Free Drinks. Aaaand last but certainly not least (but still in last place), the Mother F's scored 16 points and won a Free Pizza.

The only thing better than winning trivia with your team is winning trivia back-to-back weeks. Congrats Counter Intelligence on winning 1st place AGAIN! They were the only team that scored a successful double in Round 5's "Find the Connection" (Metallica songs). Counter Intelligence scored a head-bangin' 65 points for the win. The Karens (with only two players) took 2nd with 61 points. Spare Parts had the lead going into Round 5, but missed one of the songs. They finished in 3rd with 51 points. And maybe more/less impressive than Counter Intelligence winning two weeks in a row, we have another team that has lost two weeks in a row. And by lost I mean last place. They know who they are and I hope they enjoy(ed) their free pizza AGAIN.
