It was another beautiful evening of King Trivia at Elysian Brewery Tangletown in Seattle this Monday at 7PM!
The Picture Round was all business in the front and party in the back with 8 hilarious photos of celebrities with mullets- and we actually had a team get them all correct PLUS go double or nothing! Spi Dar J.T. knows their mullets and how to take first place! Congrats!
This week's final question was my favorite thus far- naming 10 of the 11 secret herbs and spices in the SECRET Kentucky Fried Chicken recipe!! Seems impossible but a couple teams got pretty close! Look out KFC 🙂 Congratulations to Emilio Estevengeance for their second place victory and to Cookies for taking third place!

It was the BIGGEST King Trivia night yet at Elysian Brewery Tangletown!!!! We had a record 15 teams and filled the place from the windows to walls in honor of blood draws!
Monday was a special event partnering with BloodWorks Northwest to raise awareness of the importance of donating blood and players who made appointments to donate were entered into a drawing for a $100 Elysian gift card! We had a special blood-themed round and blood bonus questions through out the game. Did you know that a typical blood donation takes 1 pint of blood (humans have abut 10 pints in their bodies) and that a single car accident victim can require as many as 100 pints of blood? We learned that 38% of the population of the US is eligible to give blood but less than 10% do and someone needs blood every 2 seconds!
The final standings of the night:

- Second Place: Team Bovine
- Third Place: Three-way tie between The Mansplainers featuring A Woman, Spi-Dar and Help! I'm Bleeding & I Can't Clot Up! (by far the best team name of the night). After the tie breaking question, The Mansplainers featuring A Woman emerged victorious!

It was a phenomenal night to be at Elysian Tangletown! The place was alive with the NBA Finals, a delicious happy hour and the mind-blowing questions of King Trivia.
Little bit of irony over the team that won first place... their team name was Cavs in 7 which of course means they were hoping the Cleveland Cavaliers would win the NBA Finals however...

Then the Warriors came back and won game 5!
Second place was claimed by Madronos, who played well through out the whole game, no matter the category. In third place, was R2 who won big on the final question. They went double or nothing and correctly named 10 of the 14 teams (not including affiliates) in the NCAA Southeastern Conference.
