King Trivia Cares, and so does Hollingshead Deli!
We had the special King Trivia Cares event tonight here at the deli with Clear Charity, a group that collects money for Diapers for Families in need, and EVERY TEAM DONATED!
We managed to raise $300 for charity, and so our winning team tonight, "Drunk Hotties and Dad Bodies", got $60 along with the usual gift cards for the venue! That's a good evening for them.
Also special to note, this weekend is Hollingshead's 55th anniversary, so I wrote a special drinking round just for them I brought out a list of all of the minor league baseball teams, and I wrote a bunch of fake ones, and players had to guess if the team I gave them was a real team or a fake team. Kudos to "Shut up Monica, shut up" for winning that round by a nose over "Flush Twice"!
All in all, it was an amazing night of Trivia! Well done everyone.

What a crowd we had on hand tonight for King Trivia at Hollingshead deli! It was SRO the entire time. And man was tonight at doozy of a game.
Every single team that played did their best, and we had three scores in the 70s!
The drinking round was won by a team of kids that were barely old enough to be in the building with one adult. And that adult got all the beer!
In the end that we came down to a tie between Pad Thai Cave Dwellers, and The Barrelers, with The Barrelers pulling out the win with almost exact correct guess on the final tiebreaker question. Nice Work!
