About Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom

Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom is a craft beer bottle shop and tasting room. We offer 16 rotating taps of Los Angeles-area beer as well as a wide variety of bottles and cans from your favorite independent breweries, which you can purchase to go or to enjoy in-house (with $1.50 corkage).  We also have an open food policy, meaning outside food is welcome and delivery is even encouraged. It's all good!

Located in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, California, our mission is to channel our passion for great beer, community, and create a fun, chill atmosphere for people to hang, drink, shop and debate the deeper mysteries of life...such as who would win in a fistfight between Batman and Captain America? What's the difference between partly cloudy and partly sunny?  If the Zombie Apocalypse started today, what would be your weapon of choice?  Why are there no such thing as B batteries?  If humans evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?

Very fun night of trivia at Hop Merchants Bottleshop and Taproom! The teams answered questions about lettuce, famous landmarks, Judy Garland, and more. There were laughs when it was revealed The Good Dinosaur is one of the lowest grossing Pixar movies, but there was outrage when it was discovered Cars was also on that list. The top three held down the fort throughout the whole night, with BlackJew taking the crown at 59 points, and Hey Mommy! following close behind at 55. There was a nail biting tiebreaker which Mubble Fubbles ended up winning, and the three winners took home gift cards of varying prices for this very Bottleshop and Taproom.
