| In 2012, three dads, Akida Mashaka, John Speaks affectionately known to everyone simply as "Speaks", and Paddy Aubrey, met at their children’s preschool and had the idea to create a local neighborhood bar/restaurant concept that catered to local communities, with a fashionable yet relaxing ambiance, where you could go with your family, enjoy a refreshing weekend brunch, have parties, host events, meet up for lunch, catch the game, or simply hang out late night over drinks with friends.

The idea is to provide a friendly neighborhood pub with quality food and drinks that caters to everyone in the immediate and surrounding communities, hence the word "Public" in our name. Our motto "By the People, For the People" is indicative of our community pub concept.

We provide friendly service offering local farm-to-table seasonal contemporary American comfort cuisine with light and healthy options, paired with craft and local beers, quality wines, and specialty and classic cocktails. We offer weekend brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and late night ambiance. |

Just another Manic Monday!

Trivia tonight at Hyperion Public was groovy with three very competitive teams all vying for 1st prize. It was neck and neck the whole way through between Monster Mashed Potatoes and Casa Amore. Both with successful doubles in round 3. In the end Casa Amore proved their stardom by naming the most Soap Operas in the final round.

For the drinking round, teams got to channel their inner family feud....survey says....Casa Amore was the winner of that round.

Monday nights trivia was under way at Hyperion Public in Studio City.

There were 5 teams all ready to compete for first prize. Double or nothing was a friend to our teams on the picture round and the themed round, making it a competitive game.

Teams got to sing along to their favorite one hit wonders during the drinking round and broke the tie with Billboard top charts from this day in history.

All in all, it was a fun night!

Monday nights are great nights for trivia! And Hyperion Public is the place to be.

We had four teams and there was no shortage on talent and brainpower.

It was neck and neck through the first few rounds with all teams doubling on the picture round. It wasn't until Round 6 where Casa Amore was a bunch of animals and successfully doubled on the matching round to secure their lead.

While Lonely Lukes joined the party late, he rocked it out on the Survey Slam drinking round.
