All things considered, is it better to double early or late? Early doubles can bring can early lead, confidence, and put pressure from on other teams. On the other hand, early doubles are usually just 12 or 16 points, while later doubles are 18-20 points. Tonight was a night of the early vs late double. "50 Shades of Bray" jumped into the lead right off the bat with a first round double, grabbing a 6 point lead over "Bro Code" and "Foul Balls" and 7 points over "Royal Crowns". "Transit Junkies" jumped back into the fray with a strong 2nd round, but 50 Shades of Bray still held at least a 7 point lead, taking it to 8 points through round 4, even after perfect round 4 '10's by Royal Crowns and "Facial Ticks". Then it happened...Bro Code doubled in round 6, scoring a massive 20 points and moving ahead of 50 Shades of Bray by 4 points. Everyone else was falling back, leaving these two teams to battle it out. It got very close in round 7, 50 Shades of Bray scoring 7 points to Bro Codes 4 points to pull within one, but that's as close as they got. Bro Code walks away with a win this week!

Three ways to play! You can double early and take a quick lead like a"50 Shades of Bray" did in round 2, but gave much of it back with a wrong answer in round 4. You can stay slow and steady and wait for others to falter, as "Foul Balls" did. Or you can double the last round and hope it is enough to win, like "Bro Code" did. When the dust cleared, 50 Shades of Bray walked away with the big 1st place prize! Foul Balls barely held off the late charge of Bro Code to nail 3nd prize by just 1 point.

"Bro Code" came with a mission! Would this be the week where they took home the big prize?! It sure looked that way right out of the starting gate. A 1st round double-down along with the 2-point bonus for being a registered team gave them a quick 7-point lead, which they nursed throughout the night. "50 Shades of Bray" kept pace, 7-points back, with a cluster of 3 teams, "Clueless", "Team Purple Cobras" and "The Team With No Name" jockeying for 3rd another 5-7 points behind. Bringing up the rear was "Beer Heads". All remained status quoted throughout the middle rounds until Clueless boldly doubled in round 6 for a huge 20 points and jumped into 2nd place, 1 point behind Bro Code"! Nervous time! In round 7, 4 of the 6 teams unsuccessfully doubled trying to catch up, which led to some lower ending scores, but 50 Shades of Bray survived to take 3rd prize. And for 1st place, Bro Code held off Clueless after both teams scored 9 points in round 7. Coming through under pressure!
