K.C. Branaghan’s is a true local pub with outstanding food and drinks, served in a warm and friendly environment. Built to re-create a cottage pub, K.C. Branaghan’s has lowered ceilings and dark wood features reminiscent of many of the great pubs of Ireland. The back bar was hand crafted using the finest materials available, and each artifact hanging on the wall was hand picked by the owner himself.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a few drinks, or you are looking for a great lunch or dinner, we hope you will join us. We feature a full menu with selections ranging from the traditional Irish Fayre, like Fish n’ Chips, Bangers and Mash, and Shepherd’s Pie, to fantastic Salads, Sandwiches and Burgers. Our entrees include Prime Rib, Filet Mignon, Grilled Salmon, Parmesan Encrusted Chicken, Shrimp Scampi, and the most authentic pastas in Long Beach. Some of our signature appetizers include our delicious Sausage Rolls, Spicy Potatoes, and Smoked Salmon. There is something on the menu for everyone.

We pride ourselves on our Draft Beer Selection, specializing in pouring the perfect Pint of Guinness each time. In addition, our lineup boasts other Irish favorites Harp, Smithwick’s, Kilkenny, and Magners. We also feature a large selection of craft beers, Sculpin, Racer 5, and Lagunitas to name a few.

Our full bar boasts a large selection of premium Irish and Scotch whiskeys, including Jameson, Knappogue, Midleton, Paddy, Glenlivet and Glenfiddich. You may also be interested in one of of our original Martinis or shots

Our pub is available for private parties or have us cater your next get together. You can also treat someone special with a Gift Certificate, available in any amount.

Another fun trivia night in the LBC. Four teams of various ages from 9 months plus. Welcome and congratulations fot tonight's winners "Schools almost out for summer" team Aloha of Aloha Elementary as they are in countdown mode with just 6 more days. They are taking home the traveling interactive trophy of the TIN case of the vintage Simpson's Trivia. They did have a bit of an advantage with a dozen players!

Missing the first place by just one point is the team with a foreshadowing team name of "Imagine Losing"! Fate can be so cruel!! Barteam did their best but they are busy catering to this motley crew for all their needs for food, spirits and excellent customer service. 

Then there is the multi tasking Dad of the night for Babymakers who played almost all the rounds in between changing diapers and chasing after the older one with a bit of help. ( I am still a good sprinter). Thank goodness he used the portable baby corral on wheels most of the night. 

So tomorrow is June 1st. I will raise a toast with Guinness tonight at home to my Dublin Dad in Heaven on his memorial bday. On the first of a new month say "rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, hare, hare, hare" and you will have the luck of the Irish all month long. Slainte!

Wow! I know Circus Vargas is in town but last night was the Naples version of a three ring circus! We were a full house with 10 second graders from a nearby neighborhood school plus their folks plus some returning and new teams. The kids loved being included for trivia as they gathered up stools to sit by my table. I even let a few help out with answering questions on the mic. The parents seemed happy to have the kids preoccupied so they could enjoy their dinner.

In Europe it is commonplace for families in pubs for dinner time. Great surprise to see my longtime friends Stu Timms and family. I was at their wedding in Long Beach years ago as well I was an interim bookkeeper for his company EuroCal Construction back in the day. Small world. Stu and I helped his music pals John Wroath plus brothers brother Roly and Duncan Jones from the Isle of Wight UK for their California pub tours for a few years. Always great to see familiar faces. 

Congratulations to the top three teams. Welcome to,the new teams and thank you for your support to the returning teams. We had legendary singer/songwriter/guitarist Jennifer Corday in the pub with girlfriends for a meeting for her upcoming private party there in August for a friend's anniversary. 

Big kudos to the awesome staff and team that orchestrate the magic of great food, beverages and service at KCB's. Thank you to Charles for helping us know more about the audio levels and system setup to make it better. See you all next week. I enjoy my coastal drive from So. County OC to the LBC each Tuesday to get back to my LA roots. Loving the LBC.
