About Mare Island Coal Shed Brewery

Formerly one of nine historic Navy coal sheds built in the late 1800s, Mare Island Brewing Co. has painstakingly transformed this historic building into a state-of-the-art 15BBL brewhouse. Our Coal Shed Brewery sits on the waterfront edge of the Mare Island Strait, and features a spacious outdoor beer garden, 16 taps, and great food served from our very own Pie Wagon food truck. Space is limited, so get in early!

Tonight was a special night, as we had a new QM trying out some rounds, and she tore the house down! Congrats, Flor!

Happy Wednesday night from Quizmaster Marlene at Coal Shed Brewery!! (May I just add - if you have not had the Ahi Sandwich, please order it next time and thank me.)

We had a great night on the Ides of March, with returning teams, new teams, and families galore. 

While I do not have Chicago accent down, I was able to sing some Mandy Moore and Heart tonight, and lay down some Shakespearean monologues.

Our top three teams were Sylvester's Talong (new team!), Streetcar Named Destroyer (new team!), and Sisters and Husbands (returning team)!
