SPECIAL: MT. BALDY: THEMED EVENT- STAR WARS RECAP

This was the trivia night you were looking for!  Star Wars event on Cinqo de Mayo and lots of teams joined us for some hard hitting back and forth rounds. Pink Fluffy Chewbaccas were the early leaders with a round 1 double down but they were lagging a bit by round 4 as the faceless men and the union took over the top spots. Then out of nowhere comes Solo, but not Han with a sneaky round 5 double down.  But round 6 was not so good as the union played a good round and pulled to within 1 point headed into the final round. In Round 7 each team scored a perfect 10, but none doubled down so Solo, but not Han walked away with a victory for the Empire

Solo, but not Han won the drinking round as they came the closest to guessing how much it would cost to build a real life Darth Vader suit. Before you get any ideas, the cost was estimated at $18.3 million... so buyer beware!

MT. BALDY: THEMED EVENT- TED LASSO RECAP

Trivia is life!  It was Ted Lasso trivia tonight and we had a few hardcore teams that challenged each other to the last round. While the usual suspects the Funky Wagnalls challenged for the lead they fell short to Ted's alter ego - Led Tasso!  That team took an early lead and held on for the W.

Go Pacers - a team I'll-equipped with Lasso knowledge - did redeem themselves a bit as they found glory in the drinking round.
