Three Cool Boys took the trivial pitch to defend last week's excellent showing, but would they have enough to defend against the likes of There's Always Next Week, Quiz Kid Donnie Smith, and Tequila Mockingbirds? The competition was fierce, and although off to a rocky start, teams really started to collect the points from round 3 onward. Rounds 5 and 6 had almost half the teams landing double-downs, solidifying who would advance to the podium. In round 7, the only double attempts didn't land, allowing the more conservative to maintain their lead, including "We Joined in Round 3" and upset "Sweaty Breakfast" who edged out 3 Cool Boys by only 2 points!

Hot off their debut album, could anyone compete with the absolute fire unleashed by Tequila Mockingbirds? They missed out on the double in round 1 but made up for it with two in rounds 2 and 3, out pacing Alternative Facts after overtaking them and maintaining enough of a lead before a round 5 double launched them into a commanding lead with a goose egg sealing Alt. Facts in second place, just ahead of Triv-Vinos.
