QUIZ RECAP

It was a glorious Tuesday night at Ravenna. This pub always gets a little bit rowdy on these heavily anticipated trivia nights, but this night it seemed like everyone brought their A game. We had a whole gaggle of teams that all had a chance at victory, but in the end only one was able to prevail.

In first place was Thankful For Two Years of Aaron"TriviaBoy" Thomas who may have lost a dear teammate for the foreseeable future, but won this evening with a solid 65 point effort. In second place, part of a three way tie for the slot, was The Coven who had the closest response to the tie breaking question. The other two teams were Ballerz and Trvialis Anterior with Ballerz being able to edge out a third place finish in the aforementioned tie breaking round.

Overall it was a spectacular night of trivia, with many strong teams giving it their all throughout the evening. We'll be back next Tuesday, and I expect to see you here!

QUIZ RECAP

I've been wanting to check out the King Trivia scene at my neighborhood brewery and this night I got the opportunity! Packed house. Everyone was there for some trivia fun. Got to meet their regular Quizmaster and work the mic with him. A great crowd here! 14 teams, around 50 players, all ready to go!

In round 1, Our Answers May Be Real, But Our IDs Are Fake takes the lead by doubling down and getting all the answers correct. Knope 2020 and Balto is not a children's movie, he is a national hero who brought medicine to children in need double down and score all the points in Round 2, placing the latter team at a tie in 1st place with Our Answers... These two teams are neck to neck for the rest of the evening. Meanwhile, Dick Punch (who was also celebrating a birthday!) consistently scores points to land them in 3rd place at the end. Our Answers... come in 2nd. And Balto... wins tonight!

Pickleback was kind enough to allow me to use a corner of their table for sorting and scoring. They were there for drinks and not for trivia. But realizing that it's free to play, they played. And they ended up winning "Best Team Name" with a round of free drinks.

Thank you to all the teams that played. It was a wonderful time with you all. Thank you to your rockstar Quizmaster Matt for having me join in on the fun. It's apparent that he loves hosting here and being with you all. And thank you to Ravenna Brewing Company for an awesome place to host this amazing King Trivia Night!

QUIZ RECAP

It was another fantastic evening at Ravenna where we had some amazing people do amazing things on the trivia battlegrounds. We had 14 amazing teams in this packed house, on an amazing evening that featured great minds.

In first place was Bolivia Wild who needed a tie breaking question to secure victory in a solid 58 point performance. It started hot with three straight perfect rounds, but cooled at the worst time possible for Clear Eyes, Full Moon, Can't lose. They finished a tough luck second place after not getting the nod on the tie breaking question. Rounding out our top three was Commander in Queef who had a solid 47 points propel them to a prize.

It's always a great time at Ravenna and the people here made sure that happened. We had a jolly good time and expect more of the same next week. Ill see you next Tuesday at 7pm!
