The best way to celebrate Friday Eve and the holiday season? Playing King Trivia over a couple of tasty brews at Shadow Grove Brewing in the San Fernando Valley! Teams reflected on their Spotify Wrapped results, made educated guesses on spy lingo, and tested their knowledge of Ariana Grande, famous "backs" and "fourths", and striped things across seven rounds of challenging trivia questions! The competition was close throughout the night, and the duos behind teams Cosmic Gumbo and Dreading January were locked in a battle for second place glory. With just a one-point difference, Dreading January clinched second place with 39 points against Cosmic Gumbo's 38, winning three beer coupons, each worth $5 one beer at Shadow Grove. But don't feel too bad for Cosmic Gumbo, as the returning champ still went home with two beer coupons! Claiming the top slot on the leaderboard early and clinging onto victory with a total of 46 points, team Burger Of The Day won the night and took home five beer coupons! King Trivia returned to Shadow Grove Brewing after the Thanksgiving holiday for another evening of brainteasers over brews, testing our player's knowledge on everything from animals on country and state flags to the New York Times Crossword to the top pop artists of the 21st century! Team Mookie used relied on the smarts of their adorable pup Millie to land a third place victory, going home with two beer coupons worth $5 off a brew at Shadow Grove, while the singular brain behind Cosmic Gumbo landed in second place at 43 points, scoring three beer coupons. Burger Of The Day brought the flame-broiled heat last night with a solid first place victory, nabbing the top prize of five beer coupons for a total of $25 off beer! Congrats to all of our players! King Trivia got "Glicked" this Thursday at Shadow Grove Brewing as nine teams tested their knowledge of the Roman empire, Cynthia Erivo, and the original Wizard of Oz among seven rounds of exciting trivia! Teams got cozy with brews and BBQ as they joined in on the fun, competing for beer coupons worth $5 off any beer at Shadow Grove. Our top three teams once again proved the value of a successful Double or Nothing bet, doubling down on their answers repeatedly to nab the top slots. With a total of 46 points, Willy Wonka's Lawyers got paid for their services in two beer coupons, while team Dreading January can at least drink their way through the month with the three beer coupons they scored with their second place win at 50 points. But our regulars over at Burger Of The Day claimed the crown once again at 63 points, winning the top prize of $25 off beer with five coupons! Congrats to all the teams!
