San Jose was alive with Hockey Fever tonight, but 7 teams at the Fountainhead had to squeeze in some pre-Sharks trivia. Automating America has been tinkering with their team composition for weeks now, and a combination of the right people and the right questions came together to make them giant killers, toppling perennial faves Ask My Balls to take home the hardware. The Balls boys stumbled in round one, and it proved costly, as they were never able to make up the lost ground, and new team Aunt Becky Got Me Into College snuck in for the bronze with bold play when The Drs. Are In couldn't pull the trigger on double-or-nothings rounds.

Perhaps a record number of teams tonight, with 10 - we're really getting a steady stable going here at The Fountainhead! Tonight was a difficult game for everyone, with only two successful doubles early in the game, which ended up making all the difference. Those two teams, Ask My Balls and Central Standard Time (formerly Aunt Becky Got Me Into College), doubled in Round 2 and remained virtually tied for the rest of the game - with Ask My Balls barely eking out victory by 1 point! Automating America rallied a bit too late to catch 'em, coming in 3rd. A low-scoring game at 50 points!

& teams enter, but only one leaves with top trivia honors! This week saw a few exciting lead changes, with newcomers Turtle Power struggling to fight off a late rally from Ask My Balls and falling a little short in the end. Scores were buoyed by strong pop culture knowledge of fictional castles and journalists, and unfortunately, new team Supreme Lead's aspirational naming convention didn't pan out for them on the score sheet, with AMB taking first, the Turtles in second, and robot overlords Automating America in third.
