In a shocking twist, King Trivia was won on Tuesday by a solo player and our favorite conservative troll, playing this week as What Will the Next Liberal Temper Tantrum Be. His deep knowledge of historical events and college football led to two successful double-up rounds, and then a tie-breaker sealed the deal. Ask My Balls and Ladies & the Tramps rounded out the top three.

The boys of Ask My Balls came roaring back after a dismal defeat last week to run off with this game in a big way. Two new teams swing through on a quest to build team camaraderie, and instead ended up duking it out for second and third. Matching round was brutal this week, resulting in the first few goose eggs I've seen in a long while.

A big shake-up at Fountainhead trivia as the defending champs, Ask My Balls, went for the double or nothing into rounds and didn't get either. In addition to their snafu, longtime contenders Ladies & the Tramps stepped their game up big time and hit three perfect back-to-back rounds, two of which they doubled up on. After a performance like that, there was no catching the first-place team, but the Lady Doctors took home a respectable second, and Twinpossible snagged third once more. Pumpkin spice and cut-throat competition are both in the air in San Jose on Tuesday nights!
