QUIZ RECAP

A crowded house at Fountainhead, with plenty of Facebookers in town for a conference, but few willing to test their trivia mettle. Returning teams are bringing in backup, finding their groove, and raising the quality of the competition on Tuesday night. A total of 4 Double-or-Nothings were played tonight, with mixed results, but thanks to smart play, Ask My Balls was back on top. 1 point separated 2nd and 3rd places, both taken by newcomers 9 Clouds and Lexington. Looking forward to future trivia where we have a little more room to breathe, but a fun night none the less!

One of the regulars at The Fountainhead has slowly been building his team, and it paid off as that team coalesced on Tuesday night as Aaron's Cupcakes. This super team laid waste to the competition with a daily double that put them ahead early and they never let up on the gas. Ask My Balls try to hang in there, but a missed Daily Double cost them the game. The Black mambas and Five Shots Deep almost took second as well with three points between the next three teams!

1. Feast and Famine at the Fountainhead this Tuesday. Perennial faves Ask My Balls roared back into first place early, but were toppled by a wrong guess during Round 4. They clawed their way back, and Sexy Cupcakes did their best to hold them off, with both teams successfully using Double-or-Nothing and in the end the boys of Balls were back on top. The Good Guys tried to pack their team with a plethora of people, but more was unfortunately not merrier while the Barrel-Aged Whiz Kids turned in a respectable game despite arriving at the end of round one. Fountainhead trivia is certainly shaping itself into a more competitive affair since its day change, and Tuesday night is bringing out some strong teams.
