QUIZ RECAP

Happy Father's Day, Quizzers! We had a small, but very mighty group of teams this week. The scores went up and down all game, but The Big Fact Hunt and Who Is Your Daddy & What Does He Do came up victorious with their 2nd and 1st place wins, respectively. Thankfully, every team knew their American history and correctly guessed the Liberty Bell and several of our nation's greatest (and not at all great) Presidents. Every team also had a pretty extensive and impressive knowledge of Jennifer Lawrence films.

QUIZ RECAP

A great turn out for my first time hosting at The Oaks! A lot of regular teams mixed in with some newcomers and a great night was had! We went to the moon, learned things about fictional bands and the Windy Kitties got a nice round of shots after identifying songs from popular Broadway musicals. It was the Tony Awards, after all!

It was a pretty tight battle between Awesome Sauced and the Windy Kitties, ending up in a tie right at the end. A nailbiter indeed, but Awesome Sauced came out on top with an excellent guess of how much money Aquaman made in the domestic box office.

A wonderful event and very emotional for me as it was my last night hosting trivia at the Oaks. I'm moving to Atlanta (thanks for a team naming themselves in my honor), and I'm passing the mantle to Hayley who is pumped to start next week.

An upset for sure, the underdog team UNTITLED finally wrestled the first place coveted spot from the veteran teams, and with a big lead.

The drinking round was...cringe-worthy. It was title "Yas Queen!" and the teams had a member come up and speak/sing the lyrics to Bohemian Rhapsody from memory. It's much harder than it sounds. It was whittled down to two teams and after a lot of missed lyrics, Joey Triviani got the drinks!

A huge great send off from everyone. Cheers to The Oaks!
