What a great night at Whisky West, in West Seattle! WOW!
I have never had a DOUBLE tie before and last night, it was TIGHT!
There were four teams, and at the end, it was a two way tie..one for first and second and then for third!
In the end, it was tough. What is the word count of Charles Dickens' novel, Great Expectations? There were 3k, 8k, and 2k. Answer? 162,690. Everyone was a great sport and graciously accepted the outcome. Even I had a tough time deciding how close to call it, but fair's fair and Magnificent Mediocrity (returning each week!) won!
I am so happy with the staff at Whisky West! What a great group pof folks! Izzy...YOU ROCK, Brother! Taking care of me and running the sound equipment is awesome! Thanks for having me and I look forward to next week!

Tuesday night at Whisky West! We had a birthday last night, and we all sang Happy Birthday to Kim, who was also one of our players!
I was told that the FB page had information about Elvis on it, and Kim had studied about Elvis, only to find that I hadn't any questions about the King! She was so disappointed!
But! She did well in the questions and gave it her best! Magnificent Mediocrity came in second and Undraughted came in first!!!! We had a great time and everyone came up with great answers!
The staff is AWESOME! They were so attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed! THANKS, GUYS!
I'm looking forward to next Tuesday!

Tuesday night Trivia at Whisky West was a TON of fun! We had 5 teams of fantastic trivia players, who were all very supportive and helped this (substitute) host to navigate the evening with bells on (yes, there were jingle bells on my Christmas sweater).
We had some large teams, and some smaller teams. All five teams did a terrific job, with the top 3 earning gift cards from the bar to come back to Whisky West - and hopefully play some more trivia!
Nicole, our server did a great job too, keeping everyone's drinks full, and spirits up. Thanks everyone, can't wait for the next gig!
