What a night of trivia at 33 Taps!! A fun evening with some dramatic scores...

More Cheese Less Pants pretty much had it in the bag from the get-go, but the fight was fierce for second place!  So much so that we ended the game with a second place tie!  Scatergorie 5 won the tie-breaker question to grab the $15 gift certificate.  But third placers  Rocket Men didn't walk away empty handed: they snagged some great swag and some light-up toys!

Excellent night of trivia at 33 Taps this week!  The competition was fiercely friendly, and 13 teams were trying for the top spot!

We played a 3 round luck-based drink round; First I rolled a virtual 20-sided die for each player and they had to predict whether the next roll would be higher or lower.  If they were wrong they were out, and ties were wrong (as they were neither higher nor lower). Second round used the same virtual die but now it was a simple call of "odds" or "evens".  The last player standing after that round faced off against the winner of the first round to win a round of drinks for their team!

Then back to the game, and MURDER finally took back the top spot!  Close behind, and I mean CLOSE, 7-11 Was a Part-Time Job took second place by only ONE POINT.  And won my favorite team name of the night prize. 🙂

Despite having a tattoo of North Carolina and a Georgia native on their team, Irma Geddon was unable to located North Carolina and Georgia's proximity to each other, losing out to Court St Crew by just one point! Now that fact will remain forever scarred in their brains.
