This proved to be a tough game tonight as the last 3 rounds had no successful doubles, which is made apparent by the lower than average scores from our teams.

International House of Bullshit was a team that grabbed their double early (in round 1) before the tough rounds revealed themselves. They had an exceptional round 5 & 7, which was enough for them to take the bronze!

PGT - Pigeon Guided Tech failed their 1st double in round one, but made a quick recovery with 2 successful doubles in a row! & just in time too before the difficult rounds! Although, they didn't get a perfect round in the last half of the game, they only missed 4 questions! They finish the game with only one bad round, taking the silver!

The Incredibles 2 Fast 2 Furious were the only other team to successfully get 2 doubles (& in a row). The last 3 rounds didn't phase them either as they could've doubled in round 5 with a perfect score (the only team to do so). They take the gold & are the champions of the night!

The game started out with a bang with 9 teams having a successful double! Things slowed down after that as the next successful double didn't come until round 5.

Tequila Mockingbird was one of the teams who participated in both of those doubles along with a perfect score in round 4. A subpar round 6 was balanced with an excellent round 7 performance as they take the bronze!

Troop Beverly Hills Adjacent also went with this game plan of the doubles in round 1 & 5, then they never missed more than 2 questions in any round to take the silver!

The Mighty Baanchods were the only team to pull off a triple double (in round 1, 5, & 6). This aggressive play worked in their favor as they take the gold & are the champions of the night!

What a fantastic night for King Trivia! So many teams with so much knowledge. Throughout the evening, five teams were duking it out, but "Double or Nothing" strategy played a pivotal role for the final top three teams. By Round 6, the Mighty Baanchods, Han Quartet and Lance Armstrong Was Framed looked solid for the top three slots. The question was - in what order would they ultimately land?

All three teams got 9 out of 10 in Round 7, but the Mighty Baanchods, who had been essentially leading the whole game, went "Double or Nothing," resulting in zero points for the final round. So Han Quartet snatched the win, followed by Lance Armstrong in 2nd and the Mighty Baanchods in 3rd. You just never know! A great night all around!
