Our second week ever at G34.3 Brewing Company started off with a pizza party and a book club joining our night!

When I arrived, a friend of the bar was having her birthday pizza celebration with her friends, and a small group of local librarians were having their weekly book club. Both groups decided to join in the fun, and the book club even decided to stop their discussion for the evening to fully focus on their chances at victory!

A few highlights from our Thursday night:

A small, impromptu karaoke-style sing-along broke out when Smashmouth's "All-Star" came on between rounds. Always a good time 😂

Although spelling doesn't count most of the time, everyone had a good time trying to figure out the spelling of "Snuffleupagus" and "Jagermeister".

We only had 1 use of the double-or-nothing, when the librarians (team name Comfortably Dumb) were sure they had all of round 5 correct, but sadly missed one answer!

MY personal favorite moment was the small lecture I received from the biology major who wanted to know how specific she needed to be about her answer for "protozoa".

In the end, it was a close night, but The Oddballs won for the 2nd week in a row, insuring that some teams will return JUST to see them dethroned!
