I love Alosta Brewing Company. Doctor Scott and Kim were dishing out fantastic Alosta Beer all night. There was a Brewmaster Herb sighting, he gave me all the details about Alosta's brewhouse expansion that they recently announced. Long story short: More good beer.
Great turnout for the first night of League Play with 14 teams. We had a great deal of returning teams (as is usual at Alosta) with a few teams checking us out for the first time.
At the end, it was the Jury of Your Beers that took first place, and the prize of 4 tickets to Brew at the Zoo at the LA Zoo. The bookworms "Overdue for a Brew" were able to claw their way out of a rough start to win 2nd place and a $20 Alosta gift card. Third place belonged to Cheers, who's paper airplane flew the furthest in the drinking round, netting them an additional prize of four pours of Alosta's finest.
A great night for dogs at Alosta as well. Samantha the pit returned for the fourth straight week; she was joined by newcomers Niden and Otto (his name was an answer in round 5 tonight). All dogs were very good dogs, and all well behaved. Such good dogs.
