In a city known more for its glitz than its grit, Angel City Brewery is proud to rough things up a bit and work beneath the shiny surface. Our home in the Los Angeles Arts District is both brewery and canvas, the center of a revival for the city's artists, musicians, hustlers, and craftspeople. It's an LA that's as ambitious as it is diverse & and our beer is no exception.
Tonight was a night of teachers! Even without team FTK in the house, a few teams of teachers dominated the questions tonight. And the lesson we all learned is a lesson we've learned before... never underestimate the power of the double-or-nothings! The Soggy Bottoms failed their double in round 5, but succeeded in both 6 and 7, leaving them in the tiebreaker round for first place! Teachers and Friends meanwhile demonstrated a slow and steady ascension, capped off with a final round doubling. And everyone in the room seriously underestimated how long it would take to solve a 17x17x17 Rubik's cube in the rare and exciting four-team final score tiebreaker. 450 minutes! That's enough time for a whole month of trivia.
