Welcome to your weekly state of the world and the quiz. Safe in our little Aslin bubble, we could close out personal and world problems tonight, and focus on pricking our brains for the smallest of important answers. Outside, someone accidentally chained their bicycle to the wrong temporary fixture, but we had 0 luck finding them in the pub.
Inside, however, a battle raged on. Rattlesnake Bandits were *nearly* unseated last-minute from their first-place showing by We Love Mark (Mark himself was not present, so I hope he appreciates the 2nd place win in his name). Regulars Doodle Gang shot up at the end of the night to make a respectable 3rd place win.
Our minds were particularly stimulated tonight by trying to remember famous mother/daughter pairs (how on earth did I not realize that Tracee Ellis Ross was the daughter of Diana?!) and guess which countries had the most Nobel prizes. Just a little hint for our future: small African and South American countries aren't super likely to have an overwhelming number of awards. But you all pulled country names right out of the aether--bonus love points for creativity.
We'll be back next week, as always. Pack your thinking caps, bone up on local news and culture, and keep on quizzin.
