QUIZ RECAP

Last night's quiz was so fun! We're starting a bit earlier at 7:30p, and the "date night" crowd perked up a little interest as we started. Bof V seems to attract it's share of foreign tourists, FIONA & MAXINE were French and did just fine considering the language gap - they got to be this week's "prettiest team" ;-). Competition was neck and neck all night, LORDZ & QWEENZ were at a disadvantage until the rest of their ringers showed up...ultimately they got squeezed out of second by ONE POINT! Aarrrrgh Charlie Brown! FINS WITH RAKES had a slow start but pulled off a dramatic 6th round double down, nosing into second and they held on to it. But most exciting was CC+C, aka CinC (last week's "prettiest" team) coming back for blood. They brought some well chosen help and took an early lead by doubling, though they did have an almost disastrous double later and a wrong early answer in the "Guess Who" round. They ended up in first place so their egos were assuaged, but they seemed more excited about winning the drinking round. The first Thanksgiving was in 1621 my fellow Americans...go go have a great one!
