Word of the night is "Dilly Dilly." All night long I kept hearing someone shout out "Dilly Dilly." Naturally, I assumed it was a zealous member of the team Dilly Dilly - Feat. Mr Ed.
Imagine my surprise, then, when taking a picture of first placed team, Eat Knowledge, one of their members (whose voice was now quite familiar to me) yelled, "every body say Dilly Dilly!"
"Dilly Dilly!" They cried out in unison as I snapped their picture.
Were they making fun of the other team? Is there a cultural reference that I was missing? Turns out it was the latter. This is what I get for not watching enough TV.
Dilly Dilly, everyone. Dilly Dilly.
