It was a slammin night with many teams and the first week with an earlier start time! For the drinking round, in honor of Robert Burns day, I recited the first two stanzas of one of his poems (we were under a bit of a time constraint with a band right after the show and extra prizes to be given out- more about this below). I wanted to do the full eight stanzas, which I think would have aided teams in the challenge- to figure out what the poem was about, but kudos to 2nd Cousins for getting closest to the general feeling. The poem was To A Louse, On Seeing One On a Lady's Bonnet at Church.
Drunk in Public was honored on this day, for being the #2 ranked team in the whole COUNTRY for 2023. We passed out prizes, took some nice photos, and a good time was had by all.
