It's always a good night when we get to share tidbits of insignificant knowledge with each other. For example, I taught most all of you that Tommy Pickles' mom's first name is Didi, and that it's not very common for people to die from playing "Chubby Bunny" in order to win free alcohol. And some of you taught me that aliens and monsters are not the same thing (you still had to have "Cloverfield" in Round 5, though) and taught me that Stephen Curry is pronounced "Steffen," for reasons I guess only his parents will understand. The more you know!
Everyone gave each other a good run for their money with every team getting to correctly double down at least once. Ladies in red had nothing on Team Lit and Ari's Bitches, Bartop and Team Lit were on top of their mythological creatures, and Knobheads made everyone sweat with their "spicy" smarts!
Team Lit held a pretty strong lead all throughout the game, but this wasn't Ari's Bitches' first King Trivia rodeo! (It's only like their fourth, or something.) Lead Bitch Ari took an agricultural course in college, so being the only team to correctly double down on individual farms in Round 7 shot them to first place at the last minute by ONE point!
Extra big shout out to all the mad love Bartop had to offer. Gina and Greg spent their 25th anniversary getting their trivia on tonight, and Heidi and Bill just got done celebrating an adventurous, fun-filled, 30 years together. You guys give us all hope! <3
