Brewyard Beer Co. is a new Craft Brewery & Taproom in Glendale, CA. We specialize in Californian "Aled" Lagers. The most well known of this hybrid style is the California Common (A.K.A Steam Beer). We offer 8 of these hybrid beers currently: Soul Cal (California Common), Imposter Syndrome (India Pale Ale'd Lager), Black Sunrise (Black Ale'd Lager), The Smoking Redhead (Smoked Irish Red Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning (Pale Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning Joe (Ethiopia Yirgecheffe Coffee infused Pale Ale'd Lager) & Perky DIPL (Double India Pale Ale'd Lager). We also have a very popular Saison brewed with Passion Fruit, A Basil Belgian Single and a Belgian Dubbel.

We had a raucous, rambunctious time at The Brewyard Beer Company in Burbank this week, courtesy of the fine folks of Jeff's Underlings. That's them right there in photo #1. And they were number one in our hearts for the sheer entertainment value of their efforts Wednesday night.

Now, if you've already looked at the scoreboard, you know that they finished in last place with just four lonely points! No, that's not a score keeping mistake and, yes, they played the whole game! So what happened, you ask? Well...

Much like a gambler who doubles his bet after every losing hand, hoping to cash in on the winning hand that is certain to come eventually, Jeff's Underlings opted to go for the double-or-nothing attempt on every round!

And with each subsequent attempt, they fell further behind on the scoreboard, but rose to the top ranks of the crowd's affection and admiration with each reading of the results. The applause and various shouts of delight and encouragement from the other teams gave the Underlings all the motivation they needed - points be damned! And by the end of the quiz, the Underlings were top dogs in the hearts and minds of everyone in the house!
