Brewyard Beer Co. is a new Craft Brewery & Taproom in Glendale, CA. We specialize in Californian "Aled" Lagers. The most well known of this hybrid style is the California Common (A.K.A Steam Beer). We offer 8 of these hybrid beers currently: Soul Cal (California Common), Imposter Syndrome (India Pale Ale'd Lager), Black Sunrise (Black Ale'd Lager), The Smoking Redhead (Smoked Irish Red Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning (Pale Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning Joe (Ethiopia Yirgecheffe Coffee infused Pale Ale'd Lager) & Perky DIPL (Double India Pale Ale'd Lager). We also have a very popular Saison brewed with Passion Fruit, A Basil Belgian Single and a Belgian Dubbel.

Your intrepid quizmaster is feeling a bit conflicted about our most recent quiz this week at Brewyard Beer Company in Burbank. On the one hand, it was another great night of trivia competition, with Busy Filipinos (photo #1) taking the win with an excellent 63-point performance. Congrats, kids.

But things took a turn when we announced our new bonus prize for first-place winners: the chance for a member of the winning team to provide a "fur-ever home" to a sweet, adorable bundle of joy in need of adoption.

Meet "Brimstone," (photo #2) a 4-pound bundle of joy with a sweet disposition and a loving heart. With delightful "puppy breath" that inspired his name and a cute little waggily tail, this potential cuddle buddy could be the perfect addition to any family that doesn't have kids (he is a bit of a "nipper.")

But alas, none of the Filipinos were able to adopt poor Brimstone. And the Carmen's House of Flowers crew (2nd place) were frankly a bit abrupt in declining to take Brimstone home. (I think they were grouchy about coming in second.)

Indeed, all of our teams rejected sweet little Brimstone, which means you're in luck! We'll be back next week with an all-new quiz, and you can bet Brimstone will be there, ready to bring warmth and joy (and a bit of poop - Brim isn't entirely house trained just yet) to the home of one lucky quizzer.
