About Brix At The Shore

Our menu features NY-style corned beef & pastrami sandwiches with a Brix twist.  Our house-made slaw, sauces, seasonings, & relishes and freshly-baked breads are what make each of our dishes over-the-top.  Don't miss our warm soft pretzel or the creamy clam Chowda!

At Brix, the wine & craft brew selection changes daily.  We try to keep some really outstanding "customer favorites" on hand at all times,  (chardonnay drinkers: ever tried Trinitas?  We call it the "Butter Bomb," and if buttery is your thing, you're going to love it!) but we always have some new things for you to try.  Our servers are here to help - so tell them what you like, or what you're about to eat, and they'll suggest something great to go along with it.  They'll be happy to give you a sample or two to makes sure they get the recommendation right.

He is a certifiable sommelier and a self-proclaimed W.I.N.O.  Rick and his wife started the original Brix - a wine bar with very limited food (think George Foreman grill!) - in 2005 as a place to share their huge and unparalleled wine collection with old friends and new.  With the addition of a full kitchen, 20+ craft brews on tap, a wide variety of beers by the bottle, & live entertainment (and 2 locations!), Brix has become a destination.  But to Rick it still feels like his living room, and you have a standing invitation.  If you're lucky, the man himself will be there to offer up a great story or joke to accompany your pinot.

Trivia at the Brix at the Shore was a true hit, once again. Five teams went head to head in steady competition throughout.  From the early start, the intelligent duo team "Khalisa Bonet" pulled ahead with a strong start and stayed that way throughout.  Old Man at the Bar, though in recent weeks a trivia champion, didn't see as much success this evening with rounds including pop-culture questions.  A new team, Statler and Waldorf, fared well throughout and nearly scored 3rd place, with a remarkable come-back towards the end. The scores ended up with Khalisa Bonet leading the pack with an astounding 37.5 points, next in the ranks was Party of Five who combined power in numbers to pull a 26 and finally, Old Man at the Bar rounding out the pack with a narrow finish at 24 points.  All in all, another successful trivia evening in the books.
