QUIZ RECAP

It was wonderful to be back at Brouwerij West after a week off, and what a game to come back to! The average score this week was 31 points -- a tough game, all agreed. We had only four double attempts in the entire game, the lowest I've seen at this brewery in quite some time. The game wound up a tie at 50 points, and one of those at the top was The Bar: as The Bar can't win a prize, they chose to forgo the tiebreaker question.

In the end, that meant Team Chili's took their first first-place spot with 50 points!! They and The Bar had the only successful doubles of the night, both 20-pointers in Round 5 (the only two teams to successfully figure out the connection). Second went to The Test Tickles at 39 points! They had one of the highest Round 4 guesses at 8 points and played smartly throughout. Third was 900 Dollarydoo$ at 37 points, who also scored one of those 8-point guesses in Round 4. Well done, all teams!

We had an informal just-for-fun tiebreaker after the game. The question: How many counties and county equivalents are there in the U.S.?
Team Chili's: 600.
The Bar: 300.
The answer: 3,141.
