QUIZ RECAP

It was a bit chilly on the patio at Cactus Jack's tonight, keeping the turnout low....but the game was great! Phil & The Buttercups and All The Dicks were high scorers in Round 1 with 5 of a possible 6, but Road Kill bounced back to top Round 2 (along with the Buttercups), scoring 6 out of 8.  The Guess Who round was a tough one tonight, as only two teams got it right, and only on the 2 point clue. The Buttercups were high scorers in the Find The Connection Round with 9, as the other two teams each tallied 8. (NB: though The Dicks' answer to Q7 "River" was arguably correct, the answer had to be "Rivers" to fit the theme)

The Dicks got 10 of a possible 10 in the Handout Round (6) to close to within a point of the leaders....but the Buttercups held on by scoring 10 out of 10 in the final round to win by 2 points.  My thanks to all the players, and to the staff at Cactus Jacks; your regular quizmaster will be back next week.  Thanks all!!
