Who knew the Gulf of Mexico was part of the Atlantic Ocean? Not that many people, it turns out! There were disputes! And I was there for it! I had to be because I was the host last night at Cat & The Fiddle for King Trivia's weekly night of trivia zaniness! Let's recap!
In second to last place with 37 points and winning some sweet Dickel swag was Cairn You Believe It? And I actually can't! I can't believe how a team purposely sets out to be the penultimate winner! Great job. The only thing that could've made that better is if there'd been a tie for second to last! I was praying for that. But alas, the Cairns dominated the second to last spot!
In second place was Agents Of The Zeitgeist with 71 points. They put up a good argument for why the Gulf Of Mexico is not abreast of an ocean, but a decision had to be made. The Gulf is considered a marginal sea and part of the Atlantic Ocean. The arguments teams had are very much like the arguments our bodies of water would have with one another: "Hey, I am not just a gulf!" I don't see the word 'ocean' in your name!" "I'm a PART of the whole ocean! Least I ain't no tributary!"
Come back next week for more King Trivia fun at Cat & The Fiddle!
