QUIZ RECAP
The last night of July was tightly contested through the 1st 4 rounds. Pharrell & Elphaba and 8008135 both doubled in rd 2, staking their claims on 1st and 2nd, respectively.
P&E held a 2-pt lead thru rd 4, with a little separation n rd 5. 800 nipped away at that lead, but was unable to overtake them.
Rd 4 saw an amazing 6 of 9 teams nail the 10-pt clue, so it was up to rd 5 to start separating the pack. Judge, Judy, and Executioner, Mischief Managed, Cashout-Cashout, and You've Been Bamboozled were the next wave trying to catch the leaders. MM and C-C had failed doubles in rd 5, seemingly knocking them out of the race.
However, C-C scored a double in rd 6, vaulting them past the others, to snag 3rd place. Having one of the highest scores in rd 7, insured they held that place.
