College Bar & Grill had an intimate spring break evening of trivia. We had 3 teams competing for their chance at winning gift cards to College Bar. Our teams were The Rock Bottoms, Tobacco Full (AKA The Big Apple), and Team Fujiana Grande. Round 1 proved to be a breeze for these smarty pants with Team Fujiana Grande in first place with 6 points. The (worldly) Rock Bottoms made a sneaky uprising by using their Double or Nothing in Round 2 giving them the lead of 19 points, leaving our other competitors several points behind. Team Fujiana Grande knew their way around the liquor cabinet bringing them only 5 points behind The Rock Bottoms (25) with 20 points after applying their Double or Nothing in this round, and Tobacco Full following shortly behind in third with 14 points. Our Guess Who round was no match for Team Fujiana Grande as they guessed correctly after only two hints, while our other teams unfortunately each lost a point for guessing Hulk Hogan and John Cena. In Round 5 the only team able to find the connection in the questions was The Rock Bottoms bringing them to first place with 30 points. Following closely behind in second place with 33 points was Team Fujiana Grande and Tobacco Full in a distant third with 14 points. In Round 6 it seems our teams were quite familiar with the works of the late Luke Perry with The Rock Bottoms getting every answer correct bringing them up to 40 points and Team Fujiana Grande tailing just behind them at 39 points! In Round 7 Tobacco Full used a last ditch effort for extra points by applying their Double or Nothing bringing them up to 28 points total. However, this was not the end for The Rock Bottoms or Team Fujiana Grande. The two teams found themselves at a tie for first place with 50 points total! One representative from each of the two teams came up to fight for their place as champion to end the tie breaker. Unfortunately neither team representative guessed correctly, but as The Rock Bottom's final answer was closest to the correct answer they won the tie breaker giving them 51 points for the match!
