Wednesday evening June 5th 3 teams came to College Bar & Grill to play trivia. Our teams were Pitchers>Buckets, Collegiate United National Team, and Team Bippus.
In Round 1 a majority of the teams only missed 1 point! The most commonly missed question was our Question of The Day. By the end of this first round our 3 teams were all in a tie with 5 points each!
Round 2 went fairly well for these teams, they seemed to be well versed with famous speeches. However our most commonly missed question was the first image which depicted Richard Nixon giving a speech in 1952. Our teams assumed it was either in the 70's or 60's. By the end of this round Collegiate United National Team was in first with 13 points, in second with 11 points was Pitchers>Buckets, and in third was Team Bippus with 10 points.
Each of the teams did a great job in Round 3! One team chose to play their Double or Nothing in this round, this team was Pitchers>Buckets. They got all of their answers correct except for just one! Which unfortunately meant they did not receive any points for the round.
Pitchers>Buckets made a come back in our Guess Who round when they correctly guessed our mystery person after just the first clue! These Courtney Cox fans gained an additional 10 points for their team bringing their total score up to 21 points. Team Bippus and Collegiate United National Team both guessed incorrectly meaning they each lost a point for their teams. By the end of the round Team Bippus had 14 points and Collegiate United National Team had 16.
In Round 5 only 1 team was able to correctly guess the common theme of the first 9 answers. This team was Collegiate United National Team, who only missed 1 question in this round.
The most amount of points lost in Round 6 were 2 points to Team Bippus. Teams Pitchers>Buckets and Collegiate United National Team each got all of the answers correct. However, Collegiate United National Team applied their Double or Nothing in this round, meaning they won an additional 20 points for their team!
Round 7 was nothing but smooth sailing for all of our teams who all got every question right! Team Bippus even played their Double or Nothing this round and won 20 extra points (after including the 2 extra points for bringing back my pen.
By the end of the game Team Bippus finished in third place with 45 points total. In second came Pitchers>Buckets with 49 points. Finally, in first place with 56 points was Collegiate United National Team. Thank you to all our players, join us again next week!
