Another fun night at Collision tonight, it was great to see some players return for the first time since COVID! Trebek's Rejects jumped out early (and set the tone for the night) by successfully converting a double-or-nothing try in Round 1; #momjeans and returners 4-Way Stop also got all 6 right in that round.  Trebek's Rejects were high scorers in Round 2 as well (along with Fantasia 2022), with 7 of a possible 8.  Fantasia 2022 missed a double by a single digit in the Applied Math round (Kamala was inaugurated in 2021 but ELECTED in 2020); the zero they took in Round 3 effectively took them out of the running, though they clawed their way back to finish a more-than-respectable 3rd, starting with being the only team to Guess What for 10 points in Round 4.  #momjeans narrowed the gap at the top by being high scorers in the Find The Connection round (9 of a possible 10) but Trebek's Rejects answered back with 9 of a possible 10 in the "handout" round to take a 5-point lead into the final round.  That turned out to be more than enough, as both teams tallied 6 in Round 7, leaving Trebek's Rejects winners with 52 points, in front of #momjeans (47); Fantasia 2022 scored 9 in Round 7 to pip 4-Way Stop at the post for third place by 3 points.  Let's do it again next week, everyone!
