The Streets are Buzzing

An amazing turn out for the second week in a row with over ten teams playing this time. Which can only means the word has been spreading around town about the energy popping off over at Doghaus. We had some new faces, some walk ins and some returning teams from last week. It wasn't clear who was going to win with one captivating round right after the next but one thing was for certain, the energy was through the roof. In the first round we had Weinerschnitzel is Coming maximizing every point hey could with a total of 14 points and maintaining first place for majority of the game. Then we had our former champs Orange is the New Gator going back and forth with a few teams for second place and to close in the gap on Weinerschnitzel. One of the teams involved in this battle was our second place from last week The Ghoulies trying to win amongst the top three for last weeks disappointing loss where they looked like they were going to place first but ended up falling out of the rankings. It looked like Weinerschnitzel had 1st place locked that is until it came own to the final round; because in round 6 Weinerschnitzel had a staggering 57 points to second places, The Ghoulies, 48. The heartbreak of the night, was when both 1st place and 2nd place had a perfect round 7 but the difference here was The Ghoulies doubling up their points taking a risk that paid off and edged them by one point and taking first place being crowned our King and Queen of Trivia. A heartbreak for some but poetic justice for the Ghoulies coming back the week after a devastating loss to claim the thrown as this weeks Royal Couple.
