What a night! 12 teams, all so different, yet with one thing in common: a thirsty desire to win at the #1 trivia game in town. There was A LOT of energy in the room that seemed to only grow as the competition grew fiercer, even bubbling over at times causing the poor man on the mic to dance and vamp a bit to get the room back on track. But really, it was a game to remember. What happened exactly? Well one highlight was when The Golden Girls snatched the free drink contest right out of the Bad Mofo's gullets by a razor's edge winning guess. There was also that moment at the end when determining who would be the ultimate victor by the tie-breaking question: what is the elevation of Denali? And would you believe it, the champion that Mischief Managed sent forth for this final test guessed the correct height of that imposing mountain to the EXACT foot?! I wouldn't believe it if I wasn't there and saw it with my own eyes but he sure enough did, winning his team the number 1 spot for the night including a generous cash reward from the bar. There were other tales to tell but there's only so much telling that can be done in a single sitting so they'll have to stay tucked away in the memories of all the great and lively competitors that participated in what could sincerely be called A GREAT NIGHT OF TRIVIA.
